For many years the only way to get live footage back to newsrooms or company headquarters was with large satellite trucks needing teams of technicians and using expensive satellite airtime. This is where we started out, operating large DNSG trucks for a major UK broadcaster.  

We now do similar things for breaking news and live events with our LIVEU LU200 cellular bonded uplink along with Eutelsat NewsSpotter KaSat service for areas with patchy 3/4G coverage.

Redstone Productions Ltd has 20 years of live and satellite broadcasting experience and we have been utilising LiveU technology with Sky News/ITV/ BBC News for the past 4 years . We provide a turnkey solution for your needs on location for either Live TV or ENG, EFP, documentary or coporate productions.  

Recent projects carried out for BBC, Sky News, ITV News, TF1 (France), SFR, IMG, 5 News, Ch4 News, CBeebies, CBBC and smaller independant companies.

We can film, edit with our FCPX suite and stream on location using LiveU LRT we can back to your dedicated LiveU server.  We provided the details of our unit and then you just add our LU200 to your managed list on LiveU Central and we can begin broadcasting.

We use BBC approved camera/editing equipment and we have the skills and experience to meet any challenge while on location. All our equipment is broadcast quality. The radio mics are licensed and we have a variety of frequencies at our disposal.  Our LiveU LU200 unit has 4x4g LTE connections and a connection at up to 10mbps via Tooway or NewsSpotter KaSat satellite service across Europe.

Our standard crew is 1 camera/2 Channel audio with FCP X edit and the LiveU LU200 encoder unit.
